Partners

Your roles and pathways, tried from the inside

Think Smart turns interviews with professionals into short scenarios: the situation they faced, the choices in front of them, and why one was better than another. Partners give their people their own experience of it, with their name and colours and a catalogue focused on the roles or courses they offer.

What every partner gets

Your own entry point

An experience at its own web address, with your name and colours, to share on your site, in emails, at open days and careers fairs. People arriving through your link land in your experience.

A catalogue focused on you

Choose which activities your people see. A hotel group can offer front-of-house, kitchen and housekeeping scenarios and nothing else.

One account for the participant

Anyone can start without signing up. A participant who creates an account keeps one profile across experiences, and what they did with you stays recorded as yours.

Aggregate reporting, by design

Partners see engagement figures for their audience, never named participants or individual results. That is a rule of the service, not a setting.

For employers

Let applicants try the job before they apply

For employers recruiting school and college leavers, apprentices and graduates, and for teams that want people to understand a role before they move into it.

“Think Smart is an innovative tool which allows us to reach out to more people during our graduate and internship recruitment process. Using Think Smart has given students a unique insight into the role they're applying for and the type of work we do.”
2020 Delivery, public sector consultancy, on their 2017 graduate recruitment campaign
  • A preview of working with you

Scenarios written with your own people show what the work is really like, in your words. We work with you to interview them and write the scenarios.

  • Reach further

Share your experience with campuses, schools and careers fairs across the country without being there in person, and reach a broader, more diverse pool of applicants.

  • Better-informed applicants

People reflect on whether the work suits them before they apply, and which of your roles fits them best, so the ones who do apply know what they are applying for.

For education

Help students choose with experience, not guesswork

For further education colleges and sixth forms, universities and business schools, apprenticeship and training providers, and employability programmes.

Further education colleges and sixth forms

Students can try the work your courses and apprenticeships lead to before they choose, and come to careers and apprenticeship conversations knowing what they enjoyed.

“Seeing that I had got a good score was very motivating and has definitely encouraged me to apply.”
Freddie, student

Further and higher education

Applicants can try the careers your courses and programmes lead to before they apply, and careers teams get a skills profile to start a conversation from.

“Our experience was fantastic and we really enjoyed working with Think Smart.”
INSEAD, business school

For every education partner

  • Better careers conversations

Students build a profile of the skills they use and enjoy, in the terms of the UK Standard Skills Classification and the Skills Builder framework. It gives a careers conversation something concrete to start from.

  • The library, chosen for your students

Pick the career areas that matter to your students from a library that runs from accountancy and nursing to hospitality, construction and teaching.

  • Content for your own pathways

If your students are heading somewhere specialised, we can work with you and your employer partners to write scenarios for it.
